I Need Humans!
Busy days are here again and I’m finding myself in need of humans more than ever - more professionally this time actually. Haha. So pardon me for this ad of sorts.
Producers! I’ve actually posted a pseudo-job ad here a few weeks ago and I’m still in search of two new producers to join our creative team for DIVA Universal Philippines. It’s a fun job to jumpstart your career in broadcasting/production with - it entails creative writing, non-linear editing and some shooting as well! We’re prepping 2011 to be a big year for DIVA Universal and it would be more fantastic to get a new breed of divas to contribute fresh and exciting concepts to make this channel a true gem in cable television. Plus, you get to have me as your boss - what’s cooler than that? HAHAHA.
Dancer-Actors! So I’ve finally gotten myself to write an original screenplay after years, well months of intense creative drought. Funny thing is that it’s the first time that I’m actually clueless as to whom I would cast. I usually find myself casting first before writing a draft, but this time, I guess I just really wanted to pour my heart out and not be the scheming bastard I usually am. Hahaha. Anyway I’m looking for dancers who can act/actors who can dance - the film is a bit intimate, so ideally they’re a couple - or really extremely professional. Haha.
Filmkids! This is actually a bit more exclusive as this is really an LFC (The Loyola Film Circle - Ateneo’s Film Org) project. They’re looking for new kids to be part of their production core - so if you’re a budding filmmaker in Ateneo, you might wanna consider being part of this. It’s an informal workshop conducted by yours truly, which aims to help you (start to) realize your vision and sensibilities as a filmmaker. It’s one way to force you to making shorts and be more aware of your personal style!
So there. I’m sorry for sounding so desperate, just that I’m really finding it difficult to get new people with my nonexistent social life as of late. Haha.
